Do Hay Straws go soggy?
Our Hay Straws have been tested for many hours in different drinks and have never gone soggy!
What is the width of your Hay Straws?
As our Hay Straws are a natural product, we can’t control the size, they can range between 3-5mm.
Are Hay Straws Gluten Free?
Yes they are! Even though the straws are from the byproduct of wheat, the gluten enzyme comes from the grain, not the stem. Once thoroughly cleaned, no residue is left on the straws. Our straws have been tested in a lab and certified as containing nil gluten (under 3ppm which under Australia Standards is gluten free), meaning our straws are safe for people with coeliac disease or other allergies
Are the straws available for whole sale?
Yes we offer wholesale pricing which is not reflected in our “shop” section. If you are interested in buying in bulk for your venue please email our Sales team at email@example.com for pricing.
Why are plastic straws so bad for the environment?
Australians use about 10 million plastic straws every day, or 3.5 billion a year. Single use plastic straws are usually used once and then thrown into landfill. Like all other plastics, they do NOT biodegrade, and take hundreds of years to break down. Even when they’ve broken down, they still exist as micro-plastics which end up in our food chain.
Is your packaging plastic free?
Our packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard, including the boxes we ship the products in. Our tape to keep the shipping boxes closed is also 100% recyclable.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do, we can ship to anywhere in the world!
